Treasurer's Report – Steve Delano not much happening this time of year. Report shows a deficit which is typical for summer giving.  Bank balance – 7/31/2025 $47,670.00 (as of today $48,288.)  Steve will check with Gail Jones regarding giving on PayPal.  Motion by Dennis Carman, 2nd by Karen Hong, So voted.  Clerk asked Dennis about reporting 501c3, he stated that he will reach out to the state to file for 2025 fiscal year.  Motion to accept by Ginny Sears; 2nd by Dennis Carman, so voted.

Pastor’s Report – nothing new to report, pastor will be back to Prudential Meeting next month.

Ongoing Business –

  • Recap - Future Energy – update still on hold. We need to clean up questions and invite Mike Jones back to get answers and email to committee. Also, Ginny asked insurance company about our liability…she will reach out and ask Mike Jones to come back in October 19 for our October meeting  or evening sometime that week.  During September, Bob will come up with question list to discuss.

  • Roll Call Board – update – Pastor Allan has list – there is understanding that someone will make donation to pay for it.

  • Donate button – Steve will try to come up this week to set up scanner.

  • Lortie Construction – update – cupola leak – Bob Sears met up with Gabriel Lortie regarding cupola leak, Bob thought Lortie is the guy for that – took measurements; new louvers – he saw water marks on ceiling and was going to prepare a quote for repair; as far as doghouse/lift he needed to see plans he couldn’t quote; his company does draw plans; as he is an architect.  Lortie thought we should put  vent in the attic due to excessive heat.  Myron has texted him twice and has not heard back.  Myron will email again this week.

  • Elevator/Lift – letter, update – Bob read us letter that was created; asked for any input or changes; make corrections and email to Prudential Committee members.  Need to give folks a list of estimated costs $80,000 for project; estimate $100,000., which would be cost for architect, contractor, lift cost.

  • Church Insurance update – Ginny – Ginny finally received the breakdown of chapel coverage from Church Mutual Insurance Co; seems the only deductible is $250 for theft of cash within church and $250 outside premises. Ginny will contact Hanson Insurance with the cost breakdown to see if we can get a better rate.  Also she asked if we were covered for “vendor insurance” for bake sales, etc – we ARE covered under General Liability.  She asked about chapel needing additional insurance for the battery storage project.  Betsy from Church Mutual stated that we need to ask Future Energy if they need us to have additional insurance for this.  Ginny will ask when she contacts Mike Jones for his meeting with us.

New Business –

  • Agnew Ministry Support – Bob thought we perhaps needed to see about a special donation.  Noted that monies go to Ethnos 360 for funding distribution.  The Agnews are continuing to keep their ministry going for a few more years – Rich Agnew is currently on leave of absence due to a surgery. We thought perhaps Pastor Allan should be lead in way to help them.   Bob asked Dennis Carman to mention this issue with Allan at deacon’s meeting.

  • Any other New Business - none
