The services at Silver Lake Chapel are held every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. We are a mixture of newer and traditional. We embrace new ideas and new methods but do not neglect the rich traditional aspects of the church. While singing fairly traditional hymns we also sing new worship songs. While embracing new presentations and form, we also believe in fairly traditional values. We do not believe that the church is an "us/them" institution. The church should not be segregated by music, age, political belief, what you wear on Sunday, etc. etc. Everyone and anyone is welcome to come and join us and you will be happily embraced by our church family.
Our preaching is biblically based and grounded firmly in the Scriptures. You don't have to know the Bible to be a part of our fellowship but be warned, it's going to rub off on you. Sermons, among other things, are meant to help you grow, to find faith, to walk with God, to experience the love of Christ, and to pass that on. The pastor is always available to answer any questions you might have.
Pastor Allan Palmer believes in Biblically based preaching that helps, assists, and guides people in living out the Scriptures.
A Children's Sermon is part of our worship time and then the younger folks are dismissed for Sunday School.
The pastor is also available for special services such as weddings, funerals, and baptisms.
