Dennis Carman has volunteered to take over the newsletter responsibilities. If you have any suggestions, news items, or even articles that you would like to contribute, please contact him.
It is hoped that we will be able to offer this by e-mail to those who can receive it that way. This will save on printing costs, etc. as you will be able to read what you want and then print out what you want such as the calendar portion and prayer requests.

This website will be growing! There will be things added to this website whenever possible. It's not easy to keep it current but we will do our best so that it is and remains a great place to send people to find out about our church. If you have any suggestions or ideas, please contact me (Allan) with them. If you know anyone that likes to manage websites or is willing to learn, I am certainly willing to turn it over to them.

The cookout at the Hongs was awesome!! Many, many thanks to them for their generosity and hospitality.

August is a quiet month at Silver Lake. We are looking for volunteers to help out with the Sunday School starting this fall. This is an important part of our ministry and needs to be part of what we offer to families as their children grow up in our church.

Please note that the bell rings twice every Sunday announcing to all our neighbors that Jesus is worshipped at Silver Lake Chapel.
